If that is true the sherrif's office should have relinquised control of the investigation to the state police. I mean I am related to a local police cheif and when my brother had a simple fender bender that agency asked the state police to investigatge it to aviod the appearence of impropriety. I mean why put the investigation into question and give te guy a line of appeal. Why not turn it over?
