As I sat in the stands celebrating the demise of Keith Brooking and praying for the starters not to get hurt, I could hear the voice in my head . "One Game Away"
The Vikings are going to be underdogs and the oddsmakers have decided the Vikings only have a 35% chance of winning this Sunday. After horrific losses to the Cardinals, Panthers, and Bears in their last 3 road games, that shouldn't be too surprising. It's surprising that the Saints aren't favored by a lot more. The experts have progressively migrated from the Saints bandwagon, to the Eagles Express, to the Cowboys, and back to the Saints. We should all be prepared for the Purple to get sold short for a bit longer.
But I guess it doesn't make me feel too bad. Here's what I see:
(1) Since the 2nd half kickoff of that Bears game, this team looks tremendous.
(2) The defense is bringing pressure and when they bring pressure, there are sacks and turnovers and an occasional runaway Ji |
